Myrin has subscriptions to over 900 journals, magazines, and newspapers in print or microform formats. Self-service photocopiers are available on the main floor and basement levels.

The Microform Area in the basement has reader/printers which allow you to read or make paper copies from materials on microfilm or microfiche. You can also request to have copies from microfilm or microfiche made for you.

The Library also subscribes to many electronic journals either individually or through the services InfoTrac Academic Index ASAP, Project Muse, JSTOR, and ScienceDirect (formerly Ideal Library).

To see whether the Library has a certain journal, magazine, or newspaper search by its title using the online catalog. You may use the Interlibrary Loan form to request copies of articles which are not in the Library's collection.

The most recent issues of many journals are shelved on the main floor of Myrin to the right of the "New Books" range. Popular magazines are displayed in the pillar racks and coffee tables just beyond the lobby area on the main floor. The current issues of  newspapers are temporarily located in the basement adjacent to the lounge.

Back issues of newspapers, magazines, and journals are shelved in the basement, either in the Microform Area or in the Periodicals Collection.
