SciFinder Scholar is the web-based equivalent of several chemical information databases, including CAPLUS (references to the chemical literature); REGISTRY (a structure database that lists every known chemical compound); and CASREACT (a reaction database). In addition to these resources, the system allows for simultaneous searching of the Medline (PubMed) database which covers medical and health sciences literature.
This resource is available at special workstations located in Pfahler Hall, including the Chemistry Library, as well as on the main floor of the Myrin Library. For additional information, please contact David Mill, Information Technology Librarian at firstname.lastname@example.org or ext. 2301 (610-409-3000).
SciFinder Scholar is available only to Ursinus students, faculty, and staff.
